More Pet Peeves In the Workplace

People who talk on the speakerphone with their doors open, disrupting the whole office. Or people that call you while on speakerphone and then act annoyed when they can't hear you or have to keep repeating themselves. Pick up the phone, you lazy ass.

Co-workers who cut their nails at their desk. Disgusting, nothing more to say.

People who walk around asking "who's in the conference room?" any time there is a visitor. Obviously its not for you, so mind your own business.

Leaving the copy machine lid open. Just close it. Really. One second, if that--just take the time.

Asking someone to look up a phone number or some other minor detail because you are too lazy to walk back to your computer and look it up yourself. (Is it just me, or is there a common theme of laziness throughout my pet peeves?)

In the parking lot, when small cars can't seem to fit between the lines. There are too many people trying to park for a freaking Mazda to take up two spaces. Either learn to park or take the bus.

Receptionists who ring your office 3 times with the same call, then come back to look and see why you can't answering. If I didn't answer, maybe--JUST MAYBE--I'm busy. That's why God created voicemail.
